Payment, Shipping, & Returns

 

Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and prepayment by check or money order.  We do not accept net 30 POs.  If you need a quote (including shipping charges), you can place the items you wish to purchase in your cart, select the shipping method desired, and select "Check or Money Order" as your payment method.  You will then get a page showing the total cost (which you can print) and a copy will also be emailed to you for your convenience.  You can do this to obtain a written quote even if you will ultimately be paying for the order with PayPal or credit card; the total amount will still be the same.

Shipping

We use USPS as our exclusive shipping carrier. In over 17 years they have never lost any of our packages, and delayed shipments are rare (usually when

the customer entered an incorrect address or zip code). Please check your address information, telephone number, and email address carefully before submitting your order.

We do not use alternative carriers such as UPS or FedEx.

We ship to the United States and many international countries. The less expensive First Class International service does not offer tracking ability, while the faster and more expensive Express Mail International option does.  Please note that there may be restrictions on some products, and that some products cannot be shipped to certain international destinations.

NOTE:  Current USPS Postal Regulations forbid the shipping of products containing Lithium batteries (e.g. Pnut altimeter) to Italy or Germany.  If you submit an order that includes a Pnut altimeter with shipping to Italy or Germany, it will be cancelled and the payment will be refunded.

After placing your items in the shopping cart, you can obtain a shipping cost for Express (1-2 business day transit), Priority (typically 2-3 business day transit), or First Class mail prior to completing your order. We strive to ship most paid orders within 2 business days of receipt. If you need an order to be expedited, or before making a quantity purchase, please contact us via phone or email regarding product availability. For international shipments, customs processing can introduce additional delays that are beyond our control.

Returns Policy

If you ordered the wrong product, or are unsure of your ability to use the product safely, you may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund of merchandise price paid. All other returns are at our discretion and are limited to current products purchased within 30 days of return request and which must be in like-new condition. A restocking fee of 20% will apply to any opened items that are accepted for return. Any product that shows visible or electrically identifiable signs of abuse, misuse, or alteration will not be accepted for return.


Returned items will be inspected and refunds processed within 5 business days of receipt at our facility. Refunds will be issued using the same method as the original payment. Please allow an additional 3 to 5 business days for bank processing of your refund if made by credit card or PayPal, and up to 7 business days for receipt of a refund check.  Shipping charges from the original order are not refundable, and return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
